NOISE | SOUND
HUMANITIES LAB
With Serena Ferrando, I taught in Spring 2023 a Humanities Lab entitled “Making Noise, MakingSound.” The class studied aspects of sound and noise, with emphasis on musique concrète, Italianfuturism, sound walks and sound mapping. Students developed group projects related to soundand noise, which they presented in the Cowley Lobby of the School of Music.
